Baklava is one of the simplest, yet most delicious desserts! The combination of nuts, sugar, vanilla and butter in fillo dough is second to none. Be sure to make baklava well in advance as it needs to cool completely and set for several hours before serving!
Once the pan is full, cut the baklava lengthwise into 1/2 inch strips. Then, cut diagonally, again in 1/2 inch strips, so that the baklava is cut into diamond-shaped pieces in the pan.
